The compilation is based on the International version of both games. The initial versions for PlayStation 3 and Vita were announced at the Sony Press Conference in Japan on September 14, 2011, as part of a 10th anniversary special, and were released on December 26, 2013, in Japan and March 2014 elsewhere.
